1. Hello, I looked through the information, you released your second album in Sweden, "Blood Harvest".
Are you satisfied with the cooperation?

Hello, Abraham here, its a pleasure to be doing this interview.
“Disembodied” was released with Rotted Life Records (US) and Blood Harvest Records.
Both labels had been doing co-releases. When I contacted Blood Harvest they had seen
we did a tape release with Rotted Life for a our first album “A Moment in a Vision” and that’s
how we had both labels work together to release the second album. We are definitely glad
to have worked with them. This second release had better promotion and we had it released on CD,
tape and vinyl. Our first album we worked with what we were offered at the time so it was a step up!

2.Is that why you played Entombed's cover of "Bitter Loss”?

No, that cover was recorded for Cvlt Nation for a tribute compilation release to “Left Hand Path’s” 30th anniversary.
It was released on March 2020 and it featured some cool bands such as Frozen Soul,
Whipstriker, Grave Infestation etc. We decided it would be cool to include it on the second album.

3 You have been from Los Angeles, since 2008, only two albums so far! Why ?

Nope! Incorrect! We formed in 2016! We are from Los Angeles, California.
Mauricio Lopez and I are founding members of the band. I had just left my first band Transcendence when founding this band.
I took my time putting the line up together as I was looking for members who saw the same vision as Mauricio and I
musically and also wanting to take the band beyond our horizons.
Frank Montero and Demitree Rivera have been with me since 2016 and our friend Miguel Martinez helped us out on
bass duties as a session/recording member. Of course later on our line up changed up a bit going from a five piece to a four piece,
however Frank, Demitree, Miguel and I kept the band going when it came to writing music and recording both albums.

4. Mysterious case - from 2008 to 2016 there is no information about you. What happened? Where is Mauricio Lopez? where are the rest of the band?

Again this information is incorrect. Mauricio Lopez and I had met prior to forming the band when I was still in Transcendence.
We met in San Fernando Valley, I was playing a show with my band at the time opening up for Gravehill back in July 2014.
Since then we stayed in contact and he would always bring up wanting to start a death metal band with the name Insineratehymn.
Fast forward two years later, were at a show watching Cannibal Corpse, Obituary and Cryptopsy play at the Mayan in Downtown LA,
he brings up starting a band and we decide to make it happen.

Mauricio later chose to leave the band. Nothing personal at all, he just chose to take a different path.
He’s still around the scene making the coolest flyers in LA. He goes by Hells Unholy Flyers!

5. Covid, War in Europe - how does it affect you?

The lockdowns didn’t affect us. We were in the middle of tracking and we had to postpone the rest of
the sessions until further notice. It gave us more time to perfect the second album. The album was originally going
to be released in 2020 but with production warehouses closing for some time, it got pushed to 2022 to release it on all formats.
There were still shows happening on the low key. As a matter of fact all kinds of events were happening in secret. If you knew,
then you knew. We chose to wait it out until places started opening back up to play live again. Our focus after recording the album was to tour.

Can’t really speak about the war in Europe aside from hoping things do get better. We have some plans to touring out there in 2024.

6. Future - concerts? patches ect! What's the plan - maybe links?

The future for us is looking good. I can’t speak about it too much as we like to keep things low key until they are confirmed.
As I mentioned, we do have plans to tour Europe next year, 2024 as well as Mexico in March 2024 in San Luis
Potosí for Misanthropic Ascension Fest which is confirmed! There’s other announcements so keep an out!

For the remaining of the year we are working on our third album and this upcoming November we will performing Hell and Heaven Open Air in Toluca, Mexico.

7.The scene in Los Angeles, tell us something about it, us in Europe!

The scene in Los Angeles is incredibly broad. LA is the hub of everything. There’s always a scene for many genres of music,
its a city that is alive and always moving. There’s many shows and other types of functions to hit up.
Death metal or any form of “extreme metal” definitely dominates the underground scene. We have a handful of great
promoters putting together great shows such as Born for Burning, The Elegy Ensemble, Church of the 8th Day and Mid Midstate Metal Fest to name a few.

8. Thank you for your time. Finally, say something important to young and old Metals!

Thank you to everyone for taking the time to read this interview. We are grateful for the support we have received
and we look forward to keeping the band moving forward. Keep supporting death fucking metal! Cheers!

Yes we created first album Vzestup Zla/The rise of evil at 2008,second one Total Mayhem 2010,
3rd Behind the Gates of terror 2015 and last WARHATE 2018. The problem is the lack of suitable band members,

Szum- 1. Hello, first of all, I would like you to tell me what your name Szum means and why ?

"Szum" is a polish word for "noise" - it ties in with dark-synth/noise scene,
of which Conrad was a part of in the 90s, and the idea of our music being literally a background noise for visuals we create.

2. How would you describe your music, but as producers and parents of this project?

It's a mix of black metal and electro music, created to be a soundtrack for our visual stories.
SZUM is not about religion, politics, history or cosmos.

3. You are both from Poland. How did you find yourself on the island and how did the cooperation with Cin Morose come about?

We moved to UK independently and met few years ago. Mingling within black metal scene here,
we observed how landscape has changed and how heavily social-media focused is the metal scene nowadays
...and the ideas kept rolling from there. From the initial conception, Szum was a virtual project -
we scouted social media for musicians who may be interested in taking part in a virtual project.
This is how we recruited Cin - we have met, very fittingly, over facebook.  We then spoke to and began working with Dev and Krzysiek.

4. You don't have any album yet. Will this change and when?

What would you need an album for? Very typical approach to music and artists as industrie.
But true, we don't have a full album yet - albeit we have released a split EP with
OmegaThrone (who also guest-starred in our latest video!). Our focus has always been the videos,
so producing a full album has not been on our radar thus far. However, now that things kicked off for us a little,
we are planning to work on a concept album to be released sometime next year - as music of course but also...
as a full movie. The documentary we released few weeks ago was a test for us and now we know we can do it.

5. Conrad played in bands from Wrocław. And what does his wife Justyna do in the band?

True, Conrad was in quite a few bands back in Wroclaw and had his own noise project, but Justyna is not a musician.
She wrote some of the lyrics and filmed a lot of footage for the first 3 videos, as well as some parts
for the Darkness Over Cumbria documentary we have recently released. She is heavily involved in post production of our film creations.

6. Covid, War - what impact does or did it have on you?

We stay away from politics so war is not featured anywhere in our work. As for Covid -
there is not much to add to the discussion about the disease itself, but the long-lasting impact it had on society
(and how people moved further into online-sphere) will likely be woven into future work, even if not referred to directly as a result of pandemic.

7. Texts - what do they talk about and what do you want to convey to others?
Technology, science and future, while we stay clear of discussing politics, religion or occult.
We enjoy discussing the way technology enhances and changes our everyday experience. However,
the lyrics - like music - are just a background noise to the visuals we produce.

8. Thank you for your answers and the last word is yours.

   Make Noise! Not Music!

Hello, I'm Bennu, that's the name of my music project.
What I play, music is music for me, how can you find me -
you won't find me on social media, listen to me - only live,
contact me - try it!

1. Hello, first of all, thank you for the answers to my questions,
which are few but a success. Question: why did you choose this form of underground?

- why not ! I am, in a sense, a free creation of something on this planet.
The underground is more of a defense against this world that does no good.

2. Music, say something about it.
- there is a mistake, we don't talk about music and I listen to it,
we don't talk about the book but I read it, you see what I'm talking about -
they created for us a world that stands on clay feet.

3. Covid, war - how is it going for you?

- covid is another muzzle for the population, a tragedy of humanity,
war - it always brings nothing good and takes a lot away.
Both are a tragedy for everyone.

4. Concerts - have you ever played live?
- yes, several times, but they always have a problem,
I play for not many people who are banned from bringing in and recording my music -
that's why you can't find anything, but I'm not worried,
I live and create for myself and you are just a moment in my life.

5. What changes can there be for wider awareness of your work?

- what for ? I also paint pictures that you can buy and have at home,
at the back of the painting you get a CD with music which I distribute myself if
I have the time and inclination. These are the changes and they will remain for now.

6. Do you want to add anything at the end?
- not much, I don't tell anyone how to live or what to do, man, every creature
has its own will and let's stick to it, let's be free as much as possible.
Thank you for the interview, I think it's the first one.
